Last July, I wrote about my
student/Prince, Imran Imoo Raza
, who had recorded the first of
twelve songs, Love Can Reign, in
support of his documentary, The
Karachi Kids, which will be
released now, in Feb/Mar. He is
currently in Pakistan filming
the final installment on the
piece.
The Love Can Reign DVD was
released along with the CD two
weeks ago to an enthusiastic
audience of press and television
executives and the powerful
presentation elicited talk of a
Grammy. The second Patriotic
song, was recorded was recorded
last week, with the perennial
favorite Pat Boone, teaming up
with Imoo, for a release in late
Spring. In the meantime, please

Pakistan born singer Imran Raza
brings together A list American
superstars in a message of peace
for the world. Imran Raza, also
known as Imoo, is joined by
legendary Guns n Roses guitarist
Slash and drummer Matt Sorum,
Quiet Riot's Chuck Wright, House
of Lords Lanny Cordola, opera
singer Richard Fredricks,
together with the Pakistani Sufi
Musicians to create the
unequivocal masterpiece "Love
Can Reign". The video for the
song has already become a huge
hit playing on AAG TV, MTV
Pakistan, and The Musik
Channels. It is an inspirational
call to the world to end
pointless bickering, needless
violence, and for humanity to
come together in the spirit of
love. This song is the first
single for a project where Imoo
has worked with American
superstars from the late Michael
Jackson to the great Pat Boone.
Imoo has said that music is the
universal language that will
bring together the heart and
minds of the worlds people so
that guns and bombs will no
longer be necessary.
