Administrative and Artistic San Mateo Winter Music Festival
Artistic Director and Soloist, with Patricia Brookes,
Susanne Marsee and Perry Price.
Conceived, cast, budgeted and coordinated a three concert
festival:
Operatic, Symphonic
and Pops, performed over a five day period, with an orchestra
comprised solely of members of the San Francisco and Oakland
Symphonies. John Green, five-time Oscar winner was the Music
Director and conducted all three performances.
The first
evening consisted of a concert version of Rigoletto, which I
edited, as well as selected arias and duets, featuring myself
and members of the N. Y. City Opera.
The second was a
Symphonic Evening programmed and conducted by Maestro Green
which featured Susan Starr, pianist and Raymond Gnewik,
Concertmaster, Metropolitan Opera.
The third evening was An Evening of
Rodgers and Hammerstein with the four solists and the Roger
Wagner Chorale.
Houston Grand Opera - Directed the production
and sang the principal role of the Secretary, in Henze's The
Young Lord, December, 1967. Administrative and Artistic

Honolulu Opera - Directed the entire production
and sang Lescaut in Massenet's, Manon,
Duluth Opera - Directed
and sang Marcello in La Bohème.
Michigan Opera - Directed and
sang Marcello in La Bohème.
Interests and Hobbies:
Licensed Private Pilot: aerobatic pilot, multi-engine,
seaplane ratings.
Yacht Captain: 50 feet plus, diesel and sail.
Small Boat Handling: Ski Boats, Catamaran.
Sailing: Sloop. Ketch and Yawl.
Certified Scuba Diver (has own equipment)
